Vũ Tường Vy – Nghệ thuật cho cộng đồng, Giáo dục cho chuyển hóa

Tốt nghiệp Thạc sĩ Nghệ thuật Cộng đồng (MFA in Community Arts) tại Maryland Institute College of Art (Hoa Kỳ), Vũ Tường Vy là một nghệ sĩ đa ngành, chuyên gia giáo dục nghệ thuật và tư vấn tổ chức với hơn 7 năm kinh nghiệm quốc tế. Vy từng tham gia nhiều dự án nghệ thuật và phát triển cộng đồng tại Mỹ và Việt Nam, hợp tác cùng các tổ chức như GreenPeace USA, VISA Inc., Greenpeace USA, Trung tâm Kennedy (Washington DC), Trung tâm Quyền Hiến pháp (CCR), cùng nhiều tổ chức xã hội về giới và quyền con người.

Tại Việt Nam, Vy là chuyên gia đào tạo và tư vấn về Đa dạng, Bình đẳng và Hòa nhập (DEI), cộng tác cùng các đại sứ quán, trường đại học và nhiều cộng đồng yếu thế. Vy cũng là người trực tiếp thiết kế các chương trình nâng cao năng lực cho tổ chức xã hội và cộng đồng (NGO & CBO), đồng thời giảng dạy nghệ thuật cho thanh thiếu niên, người bị giam giữ, cộng đồng LGBTQI+ và dân tộc thiểu số thông qua các phương pháp nghệ thuật chữa lành, giáo dục phản tư và chuyển hóa xung đột.

Bên cạnh vai trò giảng dạy, Vy từng là thành viên hội đồng cố vấn của tổ chức Coalition of Concerned Mothers (Hoa Kỳ), nghệ sĩ thường trú tại Baltimore Youth Arts, và tham gia nhiều phong trào nghệ thuật vì công lý xã hội. Vy luôn theo đuổi một tầm nhìn: nghệ thuật không chỉ là phương tiện biểu đạt, mà còn là công cụ kết nối, hồi phục và phản kháng.

Hiện tại, Vy đang đảm nhiệm vai trò:

• Stakeholder & Partners Manager tại Vanguard LLC. – một nhà xuất bản LGBT có trụ sở tại Hoa Kỳ

• Consultant tại Gốm Sen – một không gian sáng tạo truyền cảm hứng từ văn hóa bản địa

• Collaborator tại Zó Project – dự án bảo tồn và phát triển giấy dó Việt Nam

• Tư vấn độc lập cho nhiều tổ chức NGO, CBO trong lĩnh vực nâng cao năng lực tổ chức và phát triển cộng đồng

Tại Học viện TASK, Vy là một trong những đối tác nghệ thuật đồng hành trong việc thiết kế các chương trình học tập tích hợp nghệ thuật, văn hóa và trải nghiệm. Vy góp phần mang đến cho học viên TASK một môi trường học sáng tạo, bao trùm và nhân bản – nơi mỗi người được thể hiện bản sắc của chính mình, học qua cảm xúc, trí tưởng tượng và kết nối cộng đồng.

Vũ Tường Vy – Art for Community, Education for Transformation

Graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in Community Arts (MFA) from the Maryland Institute College of Art (USA), Vũ Tường Vy is an interdisciplinary artist, arts educator, and organizational consultant with over seven years of international experience. Vy has participated in numerous community arts and development projects across the United States and Vietnam, collaborating with organizations such as GreenPeace USA, VISA Inc., Jane Fonda Foundation, the Kennedy Center (Washington DC), the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), and many other gender and human rights-based initiatives.

In Vietnam, Vy serves as a trainer and consultant in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), working alongside embassies, universities, and underrepresented communities. Vy also designs capacity-building programs for NGOs and community-based organizations (CBOs), while facilitating arts education for youth, incarcerated individuals, the LGBTQI+ community, and ethnic minorities. These programs integrate healing arts, reflective pedagogy, and conflict transformation practices.

Beyond teaching, Vy has served as an advisory board member of the Coalition of Concerned Mothers (USA), artist-in-residence at Baltimore Youth Arts, and has been actively involved in social justice art movements. Vy consistently upholds the vision that art is not only a form of expression, but a powerful tool for connection, restoration, and resistance.

Currently, Vy holds the following roles:

• Stakeholder & Partners Manager at Vanguard LLC – an LGBT publishing house based in the United States

• Consultant at Gốm Sen – a creative space inspired by indigenous Vietnamese culture

• Collaborator at Zó Project – an initiative dedicated to preserving and revitalizing traditional Dó paper

• Independent consultant for various NGOs and CBOs in organizational development and community engagement

At TASK Academy, Vy is one of the core artistic partners in designing programs that integrate art, culture, and experiential learning. Vy contributes to creating an inclusive and human-centered learning environment where every learner is empowered to express their identity, explore through imagination and emotion, and connect deeply with the community.
